Historia del auto:
El dueño actual compró este auto con 54.000 millas en junio de 1998. Ni bien se lo compró, al auto se lo comenzó a modificar, y atrajo del interes de companías como greddy, eibach, stillen, clarion y NOS, y todas participaron en el projecto. AL principio se le pusieron llantas 18, pintura amarilla, algun que otro body kit y un equipo de sonido mejorado.
Luego se le puso un turbo especial T-66 por Vinny. Se le instaló un
equipo de inyección de NO2 marca NOS, y stillen instaló los frenos AP
Racing. Se modifico el interior, se agregaron 3 monitores, un vcr, dvd y una playstation. Neon tambien hubo.
Todas las modificaciones de mecánica recibieron una inspección final por un ingeniero especializado en motores turbo de toyota supra.
En el verano del 2000, el auto fue visto por gente de universal pictures, y se lo eligió para ser el auto principal de "The Fast and The Furious" Se lo modificó para que tenga un look mas agresivo: se lo pinto de naranja, un body kit BOMEX, llantas 19, un alerón trasero, un techo nuevo y un ploteado nuevo. Se usó en toda la película, excepto en las escenas donde se "abusa" de él, en el cual se usaron réplicas. El dueño luego recibió el auto sin un razguño y con fotos de él en la película y tambien él estuvo como director técnico en la película.
El valor aproximado del auto actualmente es de mas de U$D 150.000. Actualmente este auto se usa diariamente, tiene 60.000 millas,
e incluso tiene aire acondicionado, control de crucero y todos los demas accesorios que hacen al confort del manejo.
